Hello second graders!! This week I propose you two funny challenges.
I´m telling you, you will have a great time!!
The first one is called the "ALPHABET IMAGE"
For this challenge you only need:
-paper and pen.
-different objects you have in your house.
Instructions:
- Write your name, letter by letter.
- Find objects which names start with the same letter as your spelling name.
For example: A-N-A
Objects: alligator, nut, ant
-Put the objects under each letter, take a photo and send it to me.
SECOND CHALLENGE: CREATION OF PERSPECTIVE SHOTS
Sometimes things are not what they seem.
Sometimes our sight plays tricks on us and even tricks us. Would you be able to create a scene with perspective using only people and material that you have at home? You should not buy anything. The last point I ask you is to Use YOur imagination and create fun situations.
En ocasiones las cosas no son lo que parecen. A veces, nuestra vista nos juega malas pasadas e incluso nos engaña. ¿Serías capaz de crear una escena con perspectiva utilizando solo personas y material que tengas por casa y ponerle un título? Podéis relacionarlo con la expresión de una emoción, estado de ánimo, un deseo....Recordad que No debéis comprar nada. Usad tu imaginación y crea situaciones divertidas.

STORYTIME- THE VERY HUNGRY CATERPILLAR
Kids love all sorts of books and I really think that they are a great way to learn and have fun. This time I like to share with you a wonderful english native book-movie: the very hungry caterpillar
Many of you know this book and now can be a good opportunity for you to tell and practise what is going on. For those who don’t remember it, it tells the story of a tiny and very very hungry caterpillar who spends all week eating anything he pleases until he ends up having a terrible stomachache!

What better way to retell the story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar than to make a giant caterpillar? A great way to engage with the book, REVIEW days of the week, practice our counting skills and learn about healthy eating.

To prepare the activity you will need:

2.2 How to Make Your Very Hungry Caterpillar Sequencing Stick.
Begin preparing your caterpillar story stick by painting a paint stir stick green.
Comenzar pintado de verde el palo de madera.
Print and laminate
the Story Sequence Printable.
Imprimir y plastificar la secuencia de la historia.

Cut out each circle and the caterpillar head.

While the caterpillar story stick is drying, glue each laminated circle to a clothespin.

Con motivo de la próxima celebración del Día del Libro, os propongo comenzar la semana escuchando las fantásticas aventuras de "The Gruffalo" (para los alumnos de 1º E.P) y "Room of the Broom" (para los alumnos de 2º) de la escritora Julia Donaldson. Así que... qué mejor para estos días de “encierro” en casa que poder disfrutar de algunas de sus obras.
Julia Donaldson es actriz y escritora de libros infantiles, aunque también ha escrito obras de teatro. En sus inicios escribía canciones para programas infantiles de televisión, hasta que en 1993, a partir de la letra de una de sus canciones, escribió una historia para niños. Desde ese momento se ha dedicado a escribir libros. Sus libros se caracterizan por contar historias para niños utilizando las rimas, además de por estar ilustrados, mayoritariamente, por Axel Scheffler.
The gruffalo y Room of the Broom son algunos de sus libros más populares. A lo largo de su carrera como escritora ha recibido infinidad de premios y galardones, entre los que podemos destacar el título honorífico de Doctor en Letras de la Universidad de Bristol en 2011, y otro de la Universidad de Glasgow en 2012.

La editorial Oxford, con la que trabajamos, ha puesto a nuestra disposición y a disposición del alumnado el acceso digital a los libros de texto correspondientes a cada nivel. El acceso a este material, nos facilitará el poder reforzar y trabajar la parte de comprensión oral a través de los audios de las unidades correspondientes.
Para ello, simplemente deben acceder a la plataforma: blinklearning.com y formalizar el registro con los datos personales del alumno e introducir el código clase que a continuación les facilitaré para cada nivel.

Despúes de estos días de desconexión, para ir arrancando, os propongo que trabajemos sobre este TIEMPO de pausa como un tiempo de reflexión. No cabe duda de que este año pasará a la historia y será recordado por todos nosotros por siempre. Los museos del mundo ya están comenzando a registrar en sus archivos la crisis del Covid-19 con fotografías, testimonios y objetos de esta época. Así que yo os propongo que hagáis vuestra propia cápsula del tiempo y "empaquetemos" físicamente este momento histórico que nos está tocando vivir.
Hoy, por niveles, os propongo diferentes ideas y actividades para que os vayáis animando.
No os olvidéis de guardar alguna cajita que podáis decorar y "tunear" para despúes poner a buen recaudo vuestros dibujos, escritos, manualidades, fotografías...Por aquí ya estamos preparando una :):):)

Hola niños/as!! Como sabéis,estamos luchando contra un virus terrible y vosotros estáis demostrando ser unos supercampeones quedando con vuestras familias en casa. Así que hoy os propongo un RETO. Podéis ayudarme dibujando un anticuerpo como si fuese un superhéroe o una superheroína? Dibújalo valiente, fuerte y feliz porque seguro que así le ganará la batalla al malvado coronavirus y conseguirá que todo el mundo sane!
La única condición que os pongo es que lo dibujéis comiendo, comprando...comida saludable que le guste o practicando algún tipo de actividad deportiva, de la forma más original y divertida que se os ocurra. OS animo a que dejéis volar vuestra imaginación y me sorprendáis con vuestros trabajos!!
