Please read the story  "Coach Jones and Frank", this story is to review some vocabulary and relative pronoums.

This village  is O Grove. I live here.

This village is O Grove where I live.

This is the village where I live.

which: hace referencia a cosas o animales.

This cat is my pet. I found it in my garden.

This cat is my pet which I found in my home.

She is my favourite singer. She was born in New York.

She is my favourite singer who was born in New York.

In your class book you can see more examples, then ayou must work in the activity book at pages 64-65 and 99.

Thursday 28th May

Let´s go to work

4th level:

Did you the dialogue at page 61" WOULD" (Esta palabra indica condicionalidad y añadida o mejor dicho antepuesta a un verbo se traduciría tal y como os pongo a continuación, sobre todo tiene sentido de ofrecimiento, le ofreces a alguien hacer algo, que pruebe algo, etc..)

Would you like.....? ------¿Te gustaría....?

Would they pla.....?-------¿Jugarían.........?

5th level:

Look at the "Community values" Do you agree with that statement?

With which cultural events have you learned thing from other countries, for example about U.K.?

Write and remember the celebarations.

Imagine you want to invite someone to a celebration or other event. Look at "How to.....make suggestions".

Do you see that the verb has an ending in "ing"? But it isn´t a continuos past or present.

The "ing" particle is also used to make suggestions, ( hacer sugerencias ).

In the lower box on page 63 you have many examples.

Can you write some dialogues and paractise them with someone in your home.

Then you practise with page 63 in the activity book.

melaingles456@gmail.com

6th level:

How to talk about an exciting future event? At the lesson 4 you have the answer.

Read and make more examples like this, in your notebook.

Then  write about your future in the Sencundary School, it is an exciting future event, are you ready?

Wednesday 27th May

4th level:

Did you look for the new words at page 60 in the class book ?( shed, wheelbarrow, watering can, greenhouse and compost). O.K. let´s write one sentence with  them.

We are going to work in the activity book at page 48-49 and 70.

Write an essay (composition), about what you are going to do next weekend, using this verb tense.

melaingles456@gmail.com

We are going to pactise with the activity book, the future (will/won´t) at the page 61 and 98.

Now, let´s practise writing about our future, using : will, won´t , outside, inside, different jobs, and a lot of vocabulary that you know.

melaingles456@gmail.com

Monday 25th May

4th level:

Class book.-
1st exercise in the page 60, you have to use the notebook; find the pictures and match them.

2nd execise in the same page, you listen and then repeat. After you have to do a dialogue in your notebook like in the book and ask mum or dad, about the animals.

Describe one of the animals od the garden but without mentioning it so that later a member of your familiy can guess what it is.

For example: This animal is red with black spots. It has antennas, small and very thin wings with it can fly. When its wings don´t fly, it use them as a shell for protection. Do you kown what  animal is it?___________________________________

melaingles456@gmail.com

5th level:

Class book:
Read and listen in the page 61, find two differences between the picture about campsite and that you read or listen.

Then traslate this email to the spanish lenguage.

In our class we use "going to" a lot, you remember that rigth?. When I intend to do something in the near future.

Example: I´m going to tell you a bedtime story.

You are going to go to teh beach this afternoom.

they aren´t going to go shopping because it´s raining.

Can you write me six more examples?

melaingles456@gmail.com

6th level:

Well, we are going to study the construction of the future, to complete the verb tenses of this year. Although it is already known to us for using it in some reading.
It isn´t the inmediate future with intentionality, which we have studied so far with the "going to", it is even easier.

You have to add "will" in the middle of the subject and the verb:

I will be a pilot.

We will meet in our school, when this situation ends.

When the sentence is negative, you have to put "won´t":

I won´t be a pilot, I will be a teacher.

Let´s look more examples in the book in the page 61. You have to do the activities, but remember that you can write the short form: will= ´ll....................She will be an astronaut= She ´ll be an astronaut

melaingles456@gmail.com

Thursday 21st May

4th level:

We are in the community garden.

You are working very well! Cheer up!!

5th level:

We are going to remember some vocabulary to summer. You have some actions in the page 60, but do you remember more?
Which?
Write in your notebook the answers.
Then do the execise 2, but remember who you are talking about, say he or she, if they are more than one person, be careful and see how you put the verb. Do it in your notebook too.

Review with activity book and review the frequency adverbs, remember where they are placed in the sentences. Don´t do  the last "finished".

6th level:

We are going to add vocabulary to the trades or jobs. Unit 6.

What can you see at this page?
What other jobs you remember?
What jobs have your parents?
Tell me about their jobs, if they like it or not, tell me why?

After working in your notebook you can do the activity book in the page 60.

melaingles456@gmail.com

Wednesday 20th May

Don´t forget that we are working and refirming with the last two topics things that we have already seen in the previous ones, although there are some new contents that are extensions of aspects that we have already seen in the previous terms and it is necessary to continue sending tasks so that I can correct and value your job.

4th level:

Do you know that there are  films based on book or real events?

Say some and tell me what the plot was about?

If you think it is a lot or a little, if you have difficulties doing them, if you have a computer for yourself or you have to share it, what time do you work or how would you like to improve this situation..., write this composition in your notebook.

The students from 6 th leve have to tell it me but in a video. If you memorize it and tell it to me without reading, much better. But if  you cannot, even if you have to read a little, I prefer  listen to  your voice.

melaingles456@gmail.com

Wednesday 13th May

I´m waiting for some tasks, about the stories from the last week. Althoug there are few students who didn´t deliver them, I would like us to complete this work this week.

4th level:

Read tom´s blog post (page 47, activity book) and then you can make yourself, your blog post.
Don´t forget to use adjectives.

What do you want to watch?
What´s your favourite film?
Do you like scary film?

No olvides: CHARACTERS= PERSONAJES.
                    PLOT = TRAMA O ARGUMENTO.

5th level:

Now we are reviewing " have to"Mira los ejemplos de la página 55 del class book

Remember: have to_________tengo que hacer algo; ( obligación)
I have to study to pass the exam ; fíjate  que  lleva un infinitivo después del "have", to                                                                                pass.
I don´t have to  ________________; sería la forma negativa.
Por su puesto que esta forma verbal pasa a ser "has to" si hablamos en tercera persona de                         singular: She has to study to pass the exam./ She doesn´t have to wear uniform in her school.

I must study because is good for me, fíjate que en su construcción no lleva el infinitivo                                                                                    despiés de "must".

Ya sé que lo vimos hace dos semanas, pero quiero reforzarlo porque ahora vas a ser tu quien escriba al menos 6 ejemplos con "have to" en forma afirmativa y otras seis oraciones en forma negativa, puedes utilizar también la tercera persona de sinfgular "has to".

Listening 1,2 page 58 class book, make them in your notebook.
Grammar 4 page 58, in your notebook too.

6th level:

We are going to review the unit 5 with the song and study the new sounds.

Listening this page and complete the activities here.

Now you can do the activities in the activity book (56).

melaingles456@gmail.com

Story page 54, read and understand it. You can see the expression that i have already started to use in this blog repeatedly.---"have to"......esto significa, tener la obligación de ....

Remember that with the 3rd person in singular you use "has to......"

When you write the negative form, you put: don´t have to or doesn´t have to in the 3rd person.

Make sentences with the expressions from activity 4 page 55 class book, in your notebook. Then you can do pages 54,55 and 89 in the activity book.

6th level:

Review:

Totally Culture, page 52.
Read again with blink learning and say true or false in the sentences.

Study:

"How much "  with uncountable noums,.....cuánto/a
"How many" with countable noums,...........cuántos/as

Make a new dialogue in your notebook with the vocabulary in the box in the page 53; (if you can practise it with your mun or dad or a brother or a sister it´ll be wonderful).

Monday 27th April

The english tasks will be posted on this page the days: Monday, Wednesday and Tuesday, from today.
So we will coordinate your teachers tutors and I to avoid overloads of work those days.

4th level

We are going to study when you have to use Shall ( debo.....puedo...hacerlo ya?) Think and write some examples, with SHALL.... in your notebook.

Listen and point in the page 52 in your class book. Here you have a new vocabulary, copy it and traslate it
in your notebook. Then listen and read the story and you can make at the lesson 5 page 43 the activities and go to page 69 to do the activity 1.

melaingles456@gmail.com

5th level

Totally culture, 1,2,page 52 classbook.
Activities: 1,2,3 page 52 activity.
Read in the page 53 "how to talk about music" use the words in the box and write a dialogue with other person.
If you have a brither or a sister in your home practise it with him or her.
Then you can do the activity 1 and the lear to learn at page 53 in the activity book.

6th level

Unit 5
Countable and uncountable noums, in the grammar lesson 2.

La expresión "Lots of"_______(muchos/as, mucho/a)_______la utilizaré para contables e incontables.
Lo mismo con "some"_______(algún,/a, algunos/as)________contables e incontables.
Contables usaré "a few"_____(unos pocos/as)____________incontables "a little"____(un poco/una poca).
You have a box in the page 51 with some examples.
Read in your classbook about this and then you make the activities an in your activity book too (51), and grammmar paractise 96.

6th level:

At the market, page 50 in the activity book: 1,2,3 and Finished.

Let´s go.

https://elt.oup.com/student/grammarfriends/?cc=global&selLanguage=en
